Marketing, Strategy - Full-Time, Tenure-Track Assistant Professor
The University of Central Oklahoma is seeking a full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor of Marketing Strategy. The role involves teaching courses, conducting research, and engaging in service activities while supporting the department's mission to provide transformative learning experiences for students.

Responsibilities
Teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses in Marketing Strategy and Sales, delivered through face-to-face, hybrid, and asynchronous online formats
Develop and maintain an active research agenda that meets AACSB scholarly academic (SA) standards
Contribute to curriculum design, assessment, and innovation in marketing education
Provide student mentorship and engage in co-curricular initiatives such as student competitions, clubs, and experiential learning opportunities
Participate in service activities at the department, college, university, and professional association levels
Facilitate experiential learning through case studies, consulting projects, and strategic simulations with real-world organizations
Engage with industry partners to bring strategic challenges into the classroom and foster collaborative research opportunities
Qualification
Required
A Ph.D. in Marketing or a closely related field, from an AACSB-accredited institution
ABD candidates with a confirmed dissertation defense date prior to the employment start date will be considered
Evidence of teaching effectiveness and the ability to meet AACSB Scholarly Academic (SA) qualifications
Preferred
Prior business experience in marketing strategy, professional sales, or related fields
