Responsibilities

Serve as a Line of Sight (LOS) SME
Specialist in the subject of optical line of sight (LOS) jitter analysis for precision pointing spacecraft to support multiple satellite buses including LM400 and LM2100 satellite series
Familiarity with GN&C subsystem architecture, systems engineering, disturbance modelling, dynamometer testing, space vehicle jitter testing, requirements flow down, early program design and analysis, structural analysis, Damping, Dynamics Modeling, Modeling Uncertainty factors, LOS jitter analysis and time/frequency domain analysis

Required

At least 6+ years of related experience
Post-secondary degree or training in a related discipline, such as Aerospace Engineering or other related field
Expertise in optical line of sight (LOS) jitter analysis for precision pointing spacecraft
Familiarity with GN&C subsystem architecture
Familiarity with systems engineering
Familiarity with disturbance modelling
Familiarity with dynamometer testing
Familiarity with space vehicle jitter testing
Familiarity with requirements flow down
Familiarity with early program design and analysis
Familiarity with structural analysis
Familiarity with Damping
Familiarity with Dynamics Modeling
Familiarity with Modeling Uncertainty factors
Familiarity with time/frequency domain analysis

Preferred

Experience with CORESIM
Experience with flight software development and autocode to C++ and Python
Attitude Determination and Kalman Filter Experience
Multi-body dynamics experience
Familiarity with a GN&C hardware suite for space applications
Domain experience in dynamics modeling
Experience with LOS accuracy budgets
Experience in Finite Element Modeling
Experience in Disturbance modeling
Experience going through a spacecraft program life cycle encompassing requirements generation, design, analysis, integration, verification, and testing of the GN&C subsystem for space applications including mission operations
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, collaborative team environment
Demonstrated good communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical issues to peers, management, subcontractors and customers
