A Ph.D. in Physics or Applied Physics and a research specialization in Engineering
Demonstrates excellence in teaching lecture and laboratory courses at all levels, especially to students of diverse backgrounds
Build an on-campus research program
Successfully seek sponsored research grants
Involve undergraduate and graduate students in scholarly activities
Develop new applied and engineering physics research areas and courses
Teach 18 credits per year in undergraduate and graduate courses
Academic advising for Physics students
Preferred
Research interests in renewable energy research and/or environmental science and engineering
