Obsidian Entertainment is seeking an AI Engineer Intern for their Obsidian University Internship Program to help develop their next world-class roleplaying game. The intern will design and implement AI logic for characters, collaborating with Engineers, Animators, and Designers to enhance gameplay experiences.

Support programming team in developing game features and tools
Communicate with developers to confirm design plans and implementations
Iterate on features and respond constructively to critical feedback
Analyze and critique existing game designs

Required

An avid gamer with a passion for making games
Comfortable working in a team environment
Excellent communication skills
A drive to want to solve problems
Intermediate with C++

Unreal Engine experience
Experience working on gameplay systems
Debugging skills
Passion for gaming and the games Obsidian makes
