Responsibilities

Design, analysis and assessment of rotor & stator airfoils and flowpath, perform compressor performance evaluation as well as design optimization using 1D, 2D and 3D approaches

Develop and implement enhanced aerodynamic design tools and methods

Assess and evaluate test and field measurements, as well as fleet and service feedback

Provide timely field service support and solutions to manufacturing or customer issues

Drive a team through tough technical challenges

Lead internal and external research and development programs including management of outsourcing specific tasks

Required

University degree in Aerodynamics, Aerospace, or Mechanical Engineering required

3+ years of aerodynamic design/analysis experience with rotating components for turbo-machinery or similar applications, with a strong background in axial compressors

Advanced knowledge of computational methods, i.e. CFD using ANSYS CFX, and coding experience with e.g. python to automize your workflows and process your data

Must have exceptional interpersonal skills and enjoy working with colleagues from different organizations and cultural backgrounds

Must be highly motivated, detail-oriented with an innovative thinking mindset and willing to take ownership of the product
