Vice President, National Programs - Environmental Services

The Vice President, National Programs – Environmental Services will lead national programs and sales strategies to drive revenue growth and expand market share while overseeing a high-performing sales team and fostering strong customer relationships.

Responsibilities
Develops matrix technologies (lab pack, environmental assistance programs, fuels, etc.), service offers and supports execution of regional sales teams that align with corporate growth goals and market needs in the environmental services sector
Builds upon and formulates nationwide strategies (i.e. HHW) with a direct sales force
Translates enterprise-wide sales objectives into actionable plans, targets, and tactics for the region
Identifies growth opportunities in hazardous and non-hazardous waste services, industrial cleaning, remediation, and environmental compliance solutions
Builds and manages a high-performing sales team, including sales leaders, program managers and specialists
Sets performance goals, coaches team members, and fosters a culture of accountability, customer focus, and commercial excellence
Ensures consistent use of sales processes, CRM tools, and pipeline management best practices
Develops and maintains strong relationships with key customers, including industrial, commercial, and government accounts by working with our Legal team to establish commercial best practice agreements
Serves as an executive sponsor for strategic accounts and leads negotiations for direct channel high-value agreements
Partners with the Service Delivery organization (branch network) and Operations (plants) to ensure service delivery aligns with customer expectations and contractual obligations
Identifies and pursues new business opportunities, leveraging market intelligence and industry trends
Represents the Company at industry conferences, customer meetings, and regulatory events to elevate visibility and brand
Collaborates with Marketing and product teams to position services effectively and differentiate in competitive markets
Leads sales forecasting, budgeting, and performance analysis for the regional segments and the stand-alone product lines
Tracks KPIs and pipeline health to proactively address gaps and capitalize on growth areas
Provides strategic updates and recommendations to the CCO and executive team
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related technical field
10+ years of sales leadership experience in the environmental services, waste management, or industrial industries
Demonstrated success leading multi-state or national accounts and achieving multi-million-dollar revenue targets
Previous experience with a $100million or more P&L
Previous experience working with manufacturing, energy, government or other heavily regulated industries
Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and develop a high-performing team
Excellent negotiation skills to effectively identify the best path for both Arcwood and customers
Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with both internal and external stakeholders; excellent ability to build and maintain relationships
Regular and predictable attendance to perform the functions and requirements of this role
