Responsibilities

Support growing commercial services sector
Install and support Breezeline’s Commercial Hosted Voice (VOIP), enterprise fiber and small business (SMB) services
Respond to Hosted Voice, commercial fiber circuit and SMB trouble calls
Assist Technical Operations construction team with Commercial fiber deployments
Assist Network Engineers during optical and network upgrades
Performing Hosted Voice service installations which includes working with internal sales and provisioning teams along with customer interactions for pre-qualification visits, site surveys, pre-installation and installations
Install Breezeline Hosted Voice phones/devices, commercial fiber routers and other CPE
Coordinate with the Sales and Business Services teams to design and implement hosted phone changes and additions to ensure minimal disruption to existing customer systems
Troubleshoot and analyze IP voice and data issues as well as working scheduled maintenance activities during commercial equipment upgrades
Coordinate with the Advanced Services Group during current customer system interruptions and device troubles
Technical knowledge preferable associated with PBX and VOIP phone systems, ethernet and fiber networking, PC software and back office connectivity as well as CATV coax experience
May assist local Technical Operations teams with additional tasks as approved by Manager Field Operations

Required

Associate Degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two years college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or government regulations
The ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals
The ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference and volume
Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
Ability to interpret a variety of extensive technical details in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables
Ability to adhere to Local, Federal regulations and company policies
Ability to carry, climb and work from a ladder
Ability to occasionally work in outdoor environments
Ability to differentiate between different sizes and colors of wires
Ability to drive a Company vehicle in a safe and responsible manner
Ability to work in tight spaces including bending, reaching and/or twisting
Ability to operate appropriate test equipment associated with position
