MSHA Technical Training Specialist
NAPA Auto Parts, through Motion Industries, is seeking an MSHA Technical Training Specialist to teach and support mandatory health and safety training for the mining industry. This role requires delivering technical instruction, developing course curricula, and maintaining training materials in compliance with MSHA standards.

Responsibilities
Delivers technical instruction for employees that work within the mines, surface, underground as well as customers
Shadows Motion instructors and learns how to facilitate existing curriculum
Teaches technical classes at MI and customer locations
Maintains class instructional materials in line with MSHA standards and regulations
Recommends course improvements
Develops new course curriculum
Works with customers to determine training needs
Maintains and assembles hands-on training equipment as needed
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
At least three years of mining experience
Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
Typically requires a bachelor's degree with a technical concentration
3+ or more years of mining experience
Must be able to supply 3 years of the 5000-23 documentation
Extensive knowledge in the mining field
Ability to educate self on new technology and practices
Ability to stand for long periods of time
Ability to lift fifty (50) pounds
Ability to go underground when necessary
