This role is responsible for various functions throughout assigned projects, including planning, management, and monitoring project status to identify issues that may impact the project schedule and budget.

Responsibilities

Review Project Data (Specifications, BOQ, Q&A,… & Drawings) and issue the relevant RFI’s in case of contradiction / missing data using BIM model if applicable

Submit, review, and follow up on the electrical shop drawing and as-built drawings to determine conformance with contract documents

Collaborate with project team to complete requests for information (RFI)

Research and analyze customer design proposals specification, manuals, and other data to evaluate the feasibility, cost, and maintenance requirements of designs or applications

Study and verify Engineering Site Instructions through the BIM models

Evaluate, select, and apply standard engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria to perform assigned tasks

Attend regular project meetings

Identify and resolve issues, conflicts, and technical issues as they arise

Review submittals and other project documents for accuracy against plans and specifications

Monitor material and equipment delivery status

Understand and assist with project schedule management

Required

1-2 years of experience as a Project Engineer or in a similar role, industry related degree/coursework, or related internship experience

Ability to work 6 days per week, Monday – Saturday

Displays a high level of initiative and is comfortable making independent judgement

Analytical thinker who enjoys solving problems

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Desire to work in a collaborative, supportive, team environment

Organized and a high attention to detail

Flexibility

Proficient in basic computer software including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook

Ability to learn specific job-related software upon hire (JDE, Procore, Bluebeam, scheduling software, etc.)

Preferred

Engineering degree is a plus

LEAN principles experience is desirable

Knowledge of NEC code is a plus

Autodesk software programs (Revit AutoCAD and Navisworks)
