Responsibilities

Work corrective actions for discrepancies in a manufacturing environment across multiple portions of the build
Conduct critical reviews of processes to identify gaps and close the process gaps with the intent of reducing variation and discrepancies in the build
Collaborate with quality engineering and production operations to triage repeat failure modes in a production environment
Utilize lean six sigma toolsets to identify root causes and develop corrective action plans
Collaborate with team members to explore out-of-the-box thinking and contribute to product improvement initiatives

Lean Six SigmaBlack Belt CertificationPMP Certification3D Modelling SoftwareProcess AuditsCollaborationSelf-starterProblem Solving

Preferred

STEM degree preferred with 5+ years of experience
Black belt certification
PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification
Experience with audit teams or performing process audits
Experience facilitation kaizen events and tiger team efforts
Demonstrated ability to drive issues to closure and develop preventative action plan to limit failures in the future
Demonstrated understanding of engineering blueprints, model based engineering, process specifications, and manufacturing planning
Self-starter with ability to operate with limited direction
Experience working in 3D modelling software (CATIA, Creo, SolidWorks, Nx), Product Lifecycle Manager (PLM) programs (e.g. 3DX, Teamcenter, PDM, etc.), and MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) programs (iBASEt, SAP, etc.)
