Responsibilities

Lead and assist in engineering qualification of stator bars and H35 Generator with suppliers
Support qualification of H53 Generator and H65 dual-source punching's
Develop, implement, and document test plans for generator components
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with technical requirements and interface standards
Track weekly manufacturing progress at suppliers; respond to Supplier Deviation Requests (SDRs) and update drawings/BOMs as needed
Create and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs) and complete PLM-assigned tasks
Support manufacturing and sourcing in industrialization projects, Top 20 Generator projects, and qualification efforts to improve producibility
Provide timely responses to SDRs and related engineering requests
Deliver weekly status reports summarizing completed tasks, upcoming activities, and challenges

Required

Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related discipline
3+ years of experience in generator design, qualification, or manufacturing support
Proficiency in PLM systems, BOM creation, and engineering documentation
Strong understanding of generator components, industrialization processes, and supplier qualification
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills

Preferred

Experience with GE generators or similar OEM equipment
Familiarity with NPI, RCA, SDR, NCN, ER processes
Ability to manage multiple projects and deliverables under tight deadlines
