Responsibilities
Architecting, implementing, and governing secure operational environments
Bridging IT and OT
Applying globally recognized frameworks to ensure resilient, standards-compliant operations
Partnering with IT security teams to ensure alignment of OT security controls with enterprise-wide cybersecurity strategies
Participating in joint IT/OT security assessments, audits, and incident response exercises
Contributing to the development of unified security architectures that span IT and OT environments
Collaborating with Operations, IT, OT, and Governance Risk and Compliance resources to achieve measurable improvements in enterprise security
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on operations technology, or process control engineering
Proven experience in overseeing IT and/or OT security initiatives and projects from conception through implementation
Experience in securing operational technology environments, including SCADA, PLC, DCS, and SIS systems
Experience in developing and implementing security strategies, policies, and procedures for IT and/or OT environments
Experience with incident response, recovery planning, and secure remote access specific to OT environments
Proficiency in system security, network security, and application security
Strong knowledge of security testing, risk-based vulnerability assessment, and penetration testing
Familiarity with security frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, IEC 62443)
Familiarity with OT security protocols and platforms
Ability to communicate with both IT personnel and OT engineers, bridging the technical gap between the two environments
Experience working within or alongside formal change management processes in industrial environments
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field
Master's degree in a relevant field is preferred
Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
Global Industrial Cyber Security Professional Certification (GICSP)
ISA/IEC 62443 Cybersecurity Certification
GIAC Critical Infrastructure Protection Certification (GCIP)
Global Information Assurance Certification (GIAC) in relevant areas (e.g., GSEC, GCIH, GCED)
Azure IoT Experience
Certified Automation Cybersecurity Expert (CACE)
Certified Automation Cybersecurity Specialist (CACS)
GIAC Response and Industrial Defense (GRID)
Additional certifications such as Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP), or equivalent are advantageous
