Responsibilities

Performs preventative maintenance on equipment such as air compressors, HVAC, chillers, drains, water heaters, and custom equipment
Assists in troubleshooting and repairing HVAC units, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, structural, fire protection, and other related systems supporting utilities for production equipment and building while minimizing production downtime
Highlights system issues for permanent corrective actions and process improvements
Assists with general maintenance of building and other tasks assigned including but not limited to carpentry, plastering, drywall, painting, roofing, flooring, concrete, landscaping, masonry, welding, and locking doors/windows
Helps with moving heavy equipment/machinery and office relocations
Assists with conduit bending and pulling wire
Maintains inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment and recommends necessary supplies to be purchased
Helps identify any training and preventive maintenance programs that need to be optimized
Completes maintenance work orders and projects as assigned and in a timely manner
Will require driving a company truck/van between various Dr. Bronner’s locations for maintenance assignments and other responsibilities
Other duties as assigned within job scope

Qualification

Required

High school diploma or equivalent
1-3 years of experience in industrial, manufacturing, construction and/or commercial buildings or related fields
Must possess and maintain a valid California driver's license to operate the company's light truck or van
Must have experience with forklift, scissor lift, and boom lift
EPA & HVAC Certified
Basic industry and building trade knowledge/skills to include HVAC, electrical, plumbing, welding, carpentry, etc
Must be proficient in the operation of hand and power tools
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook)
Must also be able to operate a golf cart
