Tulane University is seeking a Director of Strategy and Operations for Alumni Relations. This role serves as a strategic partner overseeing key functions to drive organizational effectiveness and alumni engagement, including strategic planning and financial oversight.

Responsibilities

Overseeing key internal and external functions that drive organizational effectiveness and alumni engagement

Leading strategic planning, data and CRM operations, financial oversight, personnel administration, and communications and stewardship strategy

Managing the operations of the Bea Field Alumni House and alumni benefits programs

Ensuring alignment of goals, systems, and reporting across Advancement and campus partners

Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills

Excellent organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects, and meet established deadlines

Ability to interact professionally with individuals of diverse backgrounds externally, and internally at all levels of the organization

Ability to motivate staff and volunteers

Ability to travel, organize meetings, and facilitate planning

Proficiency in the use of MS Office

Bachelor's Degree and six (6) years of progressively responsible program management or similar experience in a higher education setting

High School Diploma or equivalent, and 10 years' transferable experience

Any appropriate combination of relevant education, experience, and/or certifications may be considered

Preferred

Some experience with personnel and/or board management experience, budget management, strategic planning and/or facilities management

Data management and reporting

Must understand the basic principles and policies of higher ed fundraising and volunteer management, including confidentiality
