Edmonds College is seeking a Program Specialist 3 - Advising Technology and Student Success Specialist to support the Academic Advising department's strategic initiatives. This role involves managing advising data, optimizing advising processes, and enhancing student experiences to contribute to overall student success outcomes.

Responsibilities

Participate in the development of and training on advising technology tools, focusing on optimizing functions within the student information system

Manage campus-wide advising caseload assignment within the student information system, including initial assignment to new students and advisor assignment changes

Facilitate assigned components of student "early" alert practices including template generation, alert response, and campus-wide training on tool use

Manage the assignment, updating, and completion of advising milestones for all student accounts

Run queries to create reports on milestones, alerts, advising data, and student success metrics

Experience in managing and analyzing advising data

Experience in developing effective processes for advising practices

Strong communication skills for marketing advising initiatives
