Business Development Manager
Doherty Staffing Solutions has been assisting businesses with workforce solutions for over 45 years. As a Business Development Manager, you will engage with clients in the field, building relationships and presenting tailored solutions to help them grow their teams.
Responsibilities
Travel within your assigned territory to meet prospects and existing clients, building strong, lasting relationships
Develop and execute strategic outside sales plans to meet or exceed revenue targets
Identify and secure new business opportunities by prospecting potential clients in person and presenting tailored workforce solutions
Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to uncover growth opportunities
Collaborate with internal teams to deliver customized solutions that meet client requirements
Manage and report on sales budgets, forecasts, and expenses
Qualification
Required
Proven experience in outside sales, business development, or account management
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills—especially in person
Ability to analyze data, create reports, and develop actionable strategies
Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of working independently while managing a travel-heavy schedule
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred but not required)
