Pendar Technologies designs and manufactures advanced chemical analysis instruments for mission-critical applications. The Electrical Systems Engineer will lead key aspects of electrical design and development for existing products and next-generation instruments.

Responsibilities

Design analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuits for new product development
Create schematics and guide or perform PCB layout as needed
Bring up new boards, run benchtop tests, and iterate rapidly on prototypes
Integrate sensors, processors, and electromechanical subsystems into cohesive designs
Support production through troubleshooting and test-fixture development
Evaluate critical components that influence system architecture

Required

Have shipped hardware before and understand what it takes to bring real products to life
Are comfortable working across design, testing, troubleshooting, and production

Approach problems pragmatically rather than dogmatically and engage constructively in technical discussions
Are organized, resourceful, and motivated by technical challenges
