Responsibilities
Perform work as outlined on repair estimates with efficiency and accuracy in accordance with dealership and factory standards
Teardown and inspect for additional or hidden repairs
Advise body shop estimator of additional damage or supplemental needs
Maintain a neat, orderly, and safe work environment, and handle company tools properly
Follow safe work practices and procedures, use safety equipment when required, responds to suggestions for working safely and seeks assistance when necessary
Other projects/initiatives as assigned
Qualification
Required
Positive attitude, motivated with mechanical aptitude
1-2 years minimum work experience as a Body Shop Technician
Valid driver's license
Must have, or be able to develop through training, a detailed knowledge of commercial truck and body shop repair
Must possess a full set of personal hand tools
Able to use a personal computer and basic applications
Minimum of High School Diploma/ GED
Preferred
Successful completion of appropriate welding and fabrication certificate programs, or equivalent hands-on experience preferred
Vocational or Technical certification in vehicle repair is preferred
