Responsibilities

Provide engineering support for desktop and mobile computing systems, including configuration, deployment, and troubleshooting

Ensure systems are compliant with DoD cybersecurity requirements, including installation and verification of Data-at-Rest (DAR) encryption and secure configurations

Support the integration of new technologies and software into the enterprise environment

Collaborate with help desk and VIP support teams to resolve escalated technical issues

Maintain documentation of system configurations, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and work instructions (WIs)

Assist in the planning and execution of system upgrades, patches, and lifecycle refreshes

Participate in asset management activities, including tagging, tracking, and disposition of IT equipment

Provide technical input for process improvements and participate in working groups as needed

Qualification

Required

Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)

5+ years of experience in systems engineering or desktop engineering in a DoD or federal environment

Active DoD Secret clearance

CompTIA Security+ certification

Strong knowledge of Windows OS, system imaging, patch management, and endpoint security

Familiarity with DoD STIGs, NISPOM, and DISA security policies

Experience with enterprise ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow)

Excellent problem-solving and documentation skills

Experience supporting VIP or executive-level users

Must be a U.S. Citizen
