Responsibilities
Negotiate property agreements and secure legal permissions for land usage
Drafting any required documentation/contracts for property rights acquisition
Mediating and negotiating agreements
Ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal laws and regulations
Cold calling and meeting with landowners for the purpose of gaining right-way access
Consult with landowners and resolve any concerns or disputes related to property acquisition
Work in coordination with surveyors, engineers, and other team members
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or equivalent minimum
Proven work experience as a Right of Way Agent, Real Estate Agent, or similar role
Strong negotiation skills and proven ability to resolve disputes
Ability to interpret and analyze complex/detailed data, including legal descriptions, appraisals, surveys, and engineering maps/drawings
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Positing can-do attitude and resolution orientation and willingness to engage in a collaborative process
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred
preferred bachelor's degree in real estate, business administration, or related field
