Responsibilities
Responsibility for an active docket of patent prosecution matters – from drafting applications through all phases of domestic and foreign patent prosecution
Counsel clients on patent strategy
Conducting searches and preparing patentability, invalidity, and non-infringement opinions
Participate in post-grant activities at the USPTO, such as inter partes review and reexamination proceedings
Support litigation and transactional practices
Client management responsibilities
Qualification
Required
At least five years of patent attorney experience including patent application drafting and prosecution
USPTO admission
Washington, Colorado, or Arizona bar admission or the ability to become licensed in Washington, Colorado, or Arizona
B.S. and/or M.S. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Physics, or related field
Strong academic performance and writing ability
