Responsibilities

Candidate maintains, calibrates, and troubleshoots lab equipment when needed to ensure optimal performance

Assists engineers in designing and conducting experiments, including setting up equipment and preparing materials

Accurately records and analyzes experimental data, ensuring thorough documentation of results

Adheres to laboratory safety protocols and maintains a clean and organized workspace

Provides technical support to engineering teams and assists in the development of prototypes and testing procedures

Prepares reports if needed on results and findings and has the ability to summarize experimental results and provide recommendations for improvements

Works closely with engineers and other technicians to support ongoing projects and initiatives

Required

Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience

Proficient in use of lab equipment electronics

Oscilloscope knowledge

Spectrum Analyzer knowledge

BERTS

Signal generators

RS-232 and RS-485 equipment/communications

Familiar with L3Harris Processes and tools

SAP

Teamcenter

SAPME

LRU and CCA troubleshooting skills

Computer H/W and S/W troubleshooting skills

VMWare and vSphere knowledge are a plus

Networking experience is a plus, knowledge of protocols

Knowledge of Servers, Multiplexers, Routers, Switches, and COMSEC devices is a plus

Satellite Communication experience is a plus

IT Information Assurance is a plus

Preferred

Previous experience in a laboratory or engineering environment is a plus

Proficient in MS Windows applications, networking equipment, using lab equipment and software; familiarity with software applications and engineering drawings is a plus

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail and the ability to evaluate complex technical information and make informed decisions

Works collaboratively in a team setting and can work independently when needed

Understanding laboratory safety practices and protocols

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Current Security Clearance preferred
