Responsibilities

Responsible for moving product within the warehouse by means of motorized equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, order selectors or reach lifts
Responsible to stock incoming items, to replenish flow racks, and pick orders with use of RF equipment
Create cartons and labels prior to shipping
Maintain productivity minimum standards with a sense of urgency
Adhere to all safety rules, policies and procedures
Replenish orders as necessary to support operation
Supply cardboard boxes and bags for departments
Maintain safe actions on and off the equipment in compliance with all safety rules/regulations required by Emerson, federal, state and local provisions
Meet department quality, attendance and productivity requirements
Perform necessary housekeeping duties to maintain clean work environment
Other duties as assigned

Required

High School diploma or GED
Requires prior forklift certification with 6 months previous warehouse experience
Previous shipping/receiving/material handling experience
Ability to operate forklift in a safe manner
Able to lift parts weighing more than (50) fifty pounds (assistance when needed) and to work in bending, squatting, and standing positions for prolonged periods of time
Occasionally reaching, pushing, pulling, grasping, banding, stretching, bending, and standing frequently
Must be able to work quickly meeting productivity and quality standards
Promote an environment where individual contribution(s) toward quality and cost improvements are maximized
Must pass forklift certifications and requirements to operate forklifts
Must pass a non-DOT physical exam
Ability to work overtime when necessary
