Commercial Senior Financial Analyst

The Commercial Senior Financial Analyst will support the Commercial Finance Manager with forecasting, reporting, and variance analysis, while also managing month-end close activities and collaborating with sales and marketing teams to drive insights and profitability.

Responsibilities
Provide product and sales support by loading data into Hyperion for the annual operating plan (AOP) and quarterly forecast cycles. Assist with creating, improving, and running report views for Sales Leaders and Product Managers
Manage and perform month-end close activities such as accruals, variance analysis, re-classes; ensuring accuracy and timeliness, in accordance with Club Car financial controls and accounting policies
Perform monthly reconciliations; research and resolve variances in a timely manner
Complete monthly reporting trends on Consumer Financing and Floorplan expense. Partner with sales and marketing to identify trends and create actionable insights
Quantify monthly risks and opportunities from backlog data
Respond to accounting and financial questions by researching and analyzing data. Ability to run ad hoc analysis and present findings in an insightful manner. Host monthly financial reviews with key business partners and stakeholders
Support monthly discussions with product and sales teams regarding price, volume, mix for commercial / consumer new cars and aftermarket parts sales
Support monthly, quarter-to-date, and year-to-date margin analysis and Commercial & Consumer sales expense trends. Help drive sales and profitability with ad hoc analysis and reviews of programs, pricing, and commercial initiatives
Assist with the compilation of weekly Bookings and Backlog reporting to senior leadership
Support the continuous review and evaluation of departmental processes to streamline and automate for efficiency and accuracy improvements
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in finance and/or accounting discipline
Minimum of 3-5 years of finance related experience
Must be detail-oriented, deadline sensitive and able to adapt to change in a fast-paced team environment
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and be able to demonstrate a very high skill level in Excel
Demonstrate knowledge of GAAP, internal controls, and Sarbanes-Oxley legislation
Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to influence business decisions with data driven analysis
Ability to host teleconferences
Preferred
CPA preferred
Experience with Mapics / AS400, Hyperion Financial Management and analytics platforms such as Tableau/OBI a plus
