Senior Operations Manager

Responsibilities

Provide leadership and management support for daily front-office operations, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and priorities
Analyze and optimize operational workflows to improve efficiency, resource utilization, and overall productivity across the organization
Develop and manage task and workflow tracking systems to monitor progress, report performance, and ensure timely completion of actions
Design and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) and process improvements to enhance operational effectiveness and business continuity
Conduct staffing analyses, develop resource plans, and implement performance metrics to evaluate and improve organizational performance
Lead planning and management for major projects and initiatives, including the development of project plans, schedules, charters, and executive briefings
Preparing decision support materials and frameworks that distill complex technical, operational, or policy issues into actionable recommendations for senior leaders
Oversee organizational and knowledge management functions, including records, documentation, and communication systems, recommending KM tools where applicable
Manage and ensure compliance with security programs for classified operations, including NISPOM and Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) standards
Identify operational risks, develop mitigation strategies, and deliver clear, data-driven recommendations to senior leadership to support continuous improvement

Required

TS/SCI Clearance
Bachelor's degree in management, science, mathematics, engineering, or a related technical discipline. Will consider an additional four (4) years of specialized experience, including military or industry operations management in lieu of degree
Ten (10) or more years of progressive experience as an operations manager
Demonstrated expertise in operational management, process improvement, and performance analysis within complex organizations
Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and interface effectively with senior government, military, and civilian personnel
Proficiency in management tools including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project) and workflow management applications
Experience managing classified programs, including facility and information systems security compliance, strongly preferred

Preferred

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess issues and deliver timely, high-quality solutions
Advanced education or certification in program or operations management preferred
