Inside Sales Engineer

The Inside Sales Engineer will support company growth by uncovering and securing project opportunities with new and current customers, working closely with the Sales, Engineering, and Operations teams to ensure successful project management and execution.

Responsibilities
Contact clients to evaluate quote opportunities, establishes quote strategy, generates costing/pricing, and writes quote documents, primarily for a broad range of customers
Clarify client needs regarding scope of work, project schedule, and project specifications after RFQ is received
Source and evaluate quotes from suppliers and subcontractors for material costing
Complete project pricing of projects for CSI products/services
Formulate competitive offer strategy and create client proposal documents
Organize and lead departmental reviews on assigned projects
Hold bi-weekly status meetings with team members
Delegate work to team members to ensure even workload
Assist Estimating Manager with completion of strategic initiatives
Qualification
Required
Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related science
2 to 4 years of related experience as a sales engineer, applications engineer, inside sales, estimating, engineering technical support, field service, project engineer, preferably with industrial and/or manufacturing applications
Previous experience communicating technical concepts with client and ability generate open dialogue with clients and with team members
Proficient with Microsoft Office software package
Preferred
Experience with SAP, Navision, etc (ERP system)
