Responsibilities

Support P&C design project deliverables, ranging from 4kV up to 500kV (with a particular emphasis on 115kV voltages and above)
Produce detailed substation P&C design packages, compliant to required client and national technical standards. Core design responsibilities include: One-line diagrams, Three-line diagrams, Potential and current schematics, Control and Indication schematics, Communication Interconnections, Wiring Diagrams, Equipment Sizing and Specifications, I/O mapping, Construction Documentation / Outage Sequencing, Procurement and Construction Support

Required

2+ years of protection & control engineering design experience in the electricity transmission & distribution sector
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (advanced degrees are a plus)
EIT or ability to obtain within 6 months required
Proficient with MicroStation and/or AutoCAD
Superior verbal and written communication skills
The ability to work independently or in a team environment effectively
The ability to work in a fast-paced, challenging environment

Preferred

ETAP experience is a plus
I/O mapping
Construction documentation/outage sequencing
