Operational Technology Asset Management and ServiceNow Analyst II
Dairy Farmers of America is seeking an Operational Technology Asset Management and ServiceNow Analyst II to support all phases of the Operational Technology asset lifecycle. The role involves ensuring data accuracy and compliance, managing software licenses, and collaborating with various stakeholders to maintain secure and operational OT systems.

Responsibilities
Maintain and enhance OT asset inventory and CMDB capabilities within ServiceNow
Ensure all OT asset records comply with established data models, naming conventions, and metadata requirements
Groom, validate, and reconcile asset data to improve accuracy and reliability of the Source of Truth datasets
Monitor data quality, identify gaps, and document items for remediation
Track asset compliance across network segments, OS and firmware versions, software versions, and lifecycle/obsolescence status
Identify assets out of compliance and document corrective actions
Produce recurring compliance and lifecycle reports for leadership and plant stakeholders
Develop dashboards and metrics reflecting compliance posture, lifecycle position, and patch status
Support internal/external audits by generating asset inventories, compliance evidence, and documentation
Document and support OT change-control practices
Track software entitlements and installations across OT environments
Ensure licenses are accurately represented in the CMDB
Support lifecycle and cost forecasting for OT software assets
Build, organize, and maintain OT documentation repositories, including network topology diagrams, OT system architecture documents, asset records and configuration details, and OT security and compliance standards
Identify documentation gaps and drive remediation
Maintain version control and ensure documentation remains current
Assist with lifecycle planning for OT hardware, including expected replacement cycles and end-of-support milestones
Support warranty tracking and service/vendor agreements for industrial hardware and software
Assist in mergers and acquisitions by merging asset data and preparing transfer records
Serve as liaison between IT, plant operations, and cybersecurity teams for OT patching and upgrades
Validate compatibility of patches with OT devices, PLCs, HMIs, SCADA systems, and plant networks
Coordinate outage windows to minimize production downtime
Track completion of patch cycles and update ServiceNow records accordingly

Qualification
Required
Undergraduate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Industrial Automation, Cybersecurity, or related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
2 to 5 years of experience in IT asset management, industrial controls, ServiceNow CMDB, or related operational technology fields
Certification and/or License – may be required during course of employment
Working knowledge of ITAM standards and best practices, CMDB structures, and asset lifecycle best practices
Knowledge of ServiceNow hardware asset management (HAM) module
Familiarity with OT systems such as PLCs, SCADA, HMIs, historians, industrial servers, and associated software
Strong understanding of ServiceNow Hardware/Software Asset Management (HAM/SAM) and CMDB
Able to interpret and manage complex OT datasets to improve accuracy and support compliance reporting
Able to demonstrate superior customer service skills
Able to demonstrate good organization and task management skills
Able to apply analytical thinking to interpret and work on multiple data sets to improve data accuracy and support decision making across ITAM and related modules
Able to demonstrate basic financial cost saving skills
Able to communicate effectively (both verbally and in writing), translate technical topics into easy-to-understand concepts, and clearly document technical processes
Able to ask direct and logical questions to determine problem causation and follow documented processes to a successful resolution
Able to work with accuracy and attention to detail
Must be able to read, write and speak English
