Responsibilities

Perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to identify and prevent product defects before release
Use SQL to query and validate data in relational databases, ensuring consistency between source systems and internal data stores
Audit data curation workflows and Lead Auditors to maintain accountability and adherence to standards
Verify ingested patient record documents for quality, completeness, and accuracy, including:
Comparing source EMR data with internal storage
Checking classification accuracy, required fields, and fidelity to source data
Reviewing outputs from text analytics (OCR, NLP/LLM) for correctness and context
Flagging and documenting discrepancies for remediation
Collaborate with data analysts to investigate anomalies and recommend corrective actions
Provide actionable feedback to leadership and product teams on tool usability, workflow efficiency, and process enhancements
Maintain thorough documentation of QA activities, audit findings, and recommendations

Required

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Health Information Management, Nursing) or equivalent work experience
5–8 years of experience in data abstraction, quality assurance, data integrity, or related roles
Proficiency in SQL for querying, validating, and troubleshooting relational database data
Strong understanding of database structures, schemas, and relationships
Experience with data curation tools, workflow management systems, and product testing platforms
Familiarity with QA methodologies, UAT processes, and audit practices
Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills
Excellent communication skills — written and verbal
Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment
Text analytics tools (OCR, NLP/LLM-based processing)
Excel for data review and reporting

Preferred

Cancer registry or oncology data abstraction experience strongly preferred (ODS‑C)
