Responsibilities
Exercise and promote safety
Receive pre-sale quote request and customer prints from Sales department
Review all customer prints and requirements for producibility
Enter all required information into the UAC Engineering System
Produce, mill, master and first article prints for production
Design secondary tooling gauges, stretcher and rework tooling
Maintain inventory of tooling
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Minimum Education: HS Diploma or GED; engineering degree a plus
Minimum Experience: 1 year of CAD/Drafting and/or 1-year machine shop experience
Physically able to stand, bend, reach, climb, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly
Preferred
SolidWorks experience preferred with knowledge of machine and tool capability
FEA analysis a plus
SolidWorks certificate of training a plus
