Responsibilities
Build AI- and LLM-powered software where success is tied to concrete operational outcomes rather than superficial metrics
Create evaluation pipelines, benchmarks, structured tests, and automated scoring that allow for consistent, repeatable measurement of progress
Integrate and coordinate various foundation models, connecting them to production signals and optimizing for robustness, cost efficiency, and performance
Rapidly experiment across a wide range of tasks, refining prompts, retrieval layers, and model tuning strategies as required
Work directly with users to understand how tools perform in the field and translate feedback into product improvements
Deliver quickly, iterate with intent, and continuously align output with mission-critical needs
Qualification
Required
Demonstrated experience building or deploying LLM-based systems where real-world evaluations and downstream impact were essential
Familiarity with prompt design, retrieval augmentation, fine-tuning, or lightweight RL approaches
Strong engineering ability in Python or a comparable language, with comfort owning functionality from conception through delivery
A builder's mindset, resourceful, adaptable, and energized by undefined or early-stage problems
A commitment to solving meaningful user problems and making thoughtful, principled technical decisions
