Responsibilities
Design and implement fullstack features with minimal oversight
Translate product requirements into technical solutions across the stack
Help define and build the foundational architecture of the new product
Collaborate with other teams across engineering and go-to-market to understand requirements and integrate with Rippling’s platform
Write high-quality, well-tested code and contribute to technical documentation
Participate in code reviews and help establish engineering best practices for the team
Qualification
Required
A minimum 5 years of experience as a software engineer
Experience building and shipping production software in a fullstack environment
Familiarity with technologies like Python, Django, React, Postgres, MongoDB, and AWS (or similar stacks)
Ability to independently break down complex problems and drive them to completion
Strong product instincts and a track record of working effectively with cross-functional teams
Comfort working in an early-stage environment where priorities may shift quickly
Preferred
Interest in the intersection of AI and UX
