Responsibilities

Manage all tape-related processes within the data center

Provide onsite "Hands and Feet" support for hardware and equipment management

Manage data center access in compliance with Aon policies and procedures. Coordinate 24/7 access for third-party providers as needed

Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all in-scope responsibilities. Update connectivity documentation for network patching (servers, storage, switches) and data/digital circuits. Maintain cabinet and row configuration documentation

Engage with Aon facilities team for tasks such as rack/un-rack devices, cabling, and equipment relocation. Provide onsite support for physical needs (e.g., hard reboot, media changes, cable checks)

Work with third-party vendors (IBM, Dell, HP, EMC) for support activities. Escort vendors onsite and ensure work is performed on appropriate equipment

Confirm with technical resources that all work has been successfully completed

Package IT equipment for shipment and coordinate with facilities/shipping vendors. Ensure all equipment in storage areas is documented per Aon standards
