Responsibilities

Participate in the preparation of individual tax returns for high-net-worth clientele and utilize feedback to ensure accuracy and efficiency

Prepare income tax projections and estimate calculations for clients

Conduct research, analysis, development and summarization of financial information

Analyze accounting records, financial statements or other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness and conformance to reporting and procedural standards

Maintain and organize client files in accordance with firm standards

Develop effective working relationships with clients and firm associates

Engages in professional communication with clients under supervision of Managers and Seniors

Communicate with the IRS and other state authorities in a professional manner when applicable

Supports Interns in professional development

Maintain open communication with management regarding the progress of completion on projects

Use critical thinking to investigate client financials and fix any discrepancies

Participate actively in training and developmental opportunities

Qualification

Tax preparationCPA certificationAccounting degreeTime managementClient service excellence

Required

Bachelor's in accounting

One busy season of tax experience

Actively studying and preparing for the CPA certification if not already obtained

Strong commitment to professional and client service excellence

Proven time management, organizational and prioritization skills

Preferred

Master's preferred (150 hour requirement threshold should be satisfied or a specific plan in place)

Preferably with exposure to high-net-worth individual returns
