Senior Capital Cost Estimator
Electric Hydrogen is on a mission to decarbonize the world through renewable hydrogen production. They are seeking a Senior Capital Cost Estimator to estimate costs for industrial-scale hydrogen electrolysis plants, influencing design direction and company success in reducing green hydrogen costs.

Responsibilities
Subject matter expert for industrial process-plant cost estimating, benchmark analysis, and cost analysis
Produce cost estimates to support the work of finance, sales, engineering, supply chain and deployment teams
Cost controls: work in collaboration with supply-chain, project deployment and finance
Provide advice and analysis to support cost-effective project development
Conduct peer reviews for capital project estimates
Manage contractor development of estimates and estimate basis including participating in contract bid evaluations
Reconcile cost estimates with cost actuals during project development
Provide expert experience and work, using additional research and interpretation to identify issues. Provide direction to supporting team members and be a strategic contributor
Up to 20% travel to contractor, vendor and customer sites depending on project phase
Qualification
Required
BS in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent
5+ years of experience taking industrial process plant projects from the conceptual estimating phase, through deployment and verification with actual costs
Capital cost estimate generation using Aspen Capital Cost Estimator software or equivalent
