Supply Mgmt Analyst

Rambus is a premier chip and silicon IP provider making data faster and safer, and they are seeking a Lead Supply Mgmt Analyst to join their Operations team in San Jose. This role is responsible for managing New Product Introduction (NPI) inventory control, supply planning, and operational processes to ensure timely material availability and efficient execution of product ramps.

Responsibilities

Oversee physical inventory organization and stockroom layout for NPI materials
Track WIP inventory and maintain accurate data in dashboards and ERP systems
Implement controlled processes for material transactions and internal asset tracking
Coordinate material flow for engineering samples, customer samples, and scrap disposition
Ensure compliance with quality hold and rejection processes for incoming materials
Develop and maintain supply plans aligned with demand forecasts and inventory targets
Collaborate with manufacturing partners and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and products
Monitor supply chain metrics (lead times, fulfillment rates) and generate performance reports
Identify and mitigate risks in the supply chain, including capacity constraints and external disruptions
Drive process improvement initiatives and advocate for tools that enhance operational visibility and scalability
Support cross-functional meetings for planning, logistics, and product lifecycle activities

Required

5+ years of experience in semiconductor planning, NPI operations, or supply chain management
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; proficiency in Excel and ERP systems (SAP/Oracle/D365)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse global group internally and externally
A degree in business administration, supply chain management, operations management, or a related field is typically required

Preferred

Familiarity with data visualization tools (Tableau) and coding languages (Python/SQL) is a plus
