Responsibilities

Engage in needs analysis by partnering with stakeholders to identify performance gaps and learning needs, translating business goals into measurable learning objectives
Design and develop learning solutions using instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE, SAM, Agile), grounded in Adult Learning Theory and cognitive science, to create engaging and effective content
Leverage AI tools to enhance the design and development phase of the creation process
Enhance existing training content by applying instructional design principles and adult learning strategies to improve visual appeal, interactivity, and learner engagement
Ensure accessibility and inclusivity by designing content that meets Section 508 and WCAG standards, addressing diverse learner needs through inclusive design practices
Evaluate learning effectiveness by developing assessments, surveys, and feedback tools, and analyzing data to inform continuous improvement and demonstrate ROI, as needed
Synthesize feedback from learners, SMEs, and L&D team members to document and implement enhancements
Support administrative tasks and processes and perform LMS administration, as needed

Required

Must be eligible to work in the United States without the need for work visa or residency sponsorship
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, OneNote)
Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) or Learning Experience Platforms (LXP)
Proficiency with e-learning authoring tools and other instructional design tools (e.g., Adobe Captivate, Articulate (360, Rise, or Storyline), Adobe Creative Cloud, Camtasia, Vyond)
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong written and verbal communication and organization skills
Must be self-motivated, disciplined, and thrive in a fast-paced environment
Master's/bachelor's degree in Instructional Design & Technology, or master's/bachelor's degree in related field (Learning Design, Educational Technology, Instructional Technology, Learning & Development)

Preferred

Proficiency in Canva
eLearning Specialist certification
Experience applying WCAG (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines)
Experience applying Adult Learning Theory or Instructional Design principles
