Responsibilities
Work with the leads in waveform, stack and modem platform decisions and implementation, integration and subsystem testing for all payloads across all the parameter space
Responsible for engineering production worthy PHY and MAC designs - both transmit and receive sides - for payloads with varying requirements Logos Space Services Inc
Responsible for bringing great ingenuity to waveform and receiver designs to operate various payloads across a wide range of operating conditions
Responsible for working with team leads in conceiving, planning and building all the labs needed to scale to the PHY & MAC subsystem testing of the Logos Space baseband system in both the transmitter and receiver hardware
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer science or a STEM field with significant relevant experience in system design, PHY and MAC layer designs and mapping onto Hardware and Firmware platforms
Experience working in a startup context
Significant experience in satcom and / or terrestrial wireless system design, integration and test
Experience working with software or hardware systems through the entire product life cycle. Starting from conceptual designs and trade-offs through detailed design, development, manufacturing, integration, testing, deployment, and operations in a team setting
Experience in designing complex DSP, transmitter, receiver algorithms - for PHY and / or MAC layers - in SatCom, 3GPP, WiFi or Cable modem contexts
Preferred
Master's or Ph.D degree in Engineering or Computer science or a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math) with significant relevant experience in DSP, PHY and MAC designs
6+ years experience with wireless systems design, integration and test
Experience doing above in fast paced startups
Experience in delivering products to production
