The UGE Cable Splicer is responsible for performing cable splicing functions and supports the Splicing team in the repair of electrical underground distribution systems.

Construction

Responsibilities

Splice and rearrange cable pairs
Open and bond cables
Place and ground various types of enclosures
Read splicing print and apply color code to print reading. Dig holes and replace the dirt when work is complete
Perform other duties as required and/or assigned

Required

High school diploma, or equivalent
