Field Engineer Intern
Signal Energy is a preferred Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) contractor for North American energy companies, focused on harnessing the creative energy of their people. They are seeking Field Engineer interns to work on a solar construction project site, where interns will gain exposure to the Field Engineer role and support project construction from preconstruction through final acceptance.

Support and execution of an assigned scope for project construction
Work closely with Project Engineers, Project Managers, and support Superintendents
Qualification
Required
Candidates selected for this internship will be expected to relocate for the project site for the duration of the internship (per diem/housing allowance included)
This position is ideally suited for students pursuing an engineering (civil, mechanical or electrical engineering) or construction management degree, with an interest in pursuing a construction or project management career
Basic exposure to technical and administrative phases of project management
Basic exposure/ability to read & understand IFC drawings and job specifications for civil and electrical work
Excellent mathematical skills, including application and use in problem solving
Strong coordination, time management, active listening, verbal and written communication skills, critical thinking, and reasoning skills
Computer literacy and proficiency using Microsoft tools, especially Excel
