The Sales Audit Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that retail store sales and inventory transactions are properly recorded and will oversee financial data related to retail operations while identifying opportunities for internal control improvements.

Responsibilities
Process store sales and audit sales for errors and variances
Research variances and process corrections when needed
Reconcile sales by store daily
Ensure store tenders balance and are reconciled end of the day, POs close activity entered by each store
Oversee the store’s physical inventory process
Work with a third-party vendor to ensure the physical count is accurate and recorded in the Aptos system correctly
Prepare schedules and report the results
Perform inventory and cycle count adjustments as needed
Conduct daily Loss Prevention audit process for each store location. Such as cash refunds, cancelled sales, monitoring of discounts, and home office check refunds
Recap the audit results with store managers/district managers and advise of needed corrections
Run month-end LP reports
Monitor outstanding inventory shipments and receipts
Review distributions, transfers, and outstanding POs to ensure the inventory is properly recorded
Qualification
Required
Capacity to perform detailed analysis while understanding big picture implications
Strong attention to detail
Power user with Excel functions
Strong systems experience in Aptos, SAP, or similar
Preferred
1+ years of Retail Sales Audit experience
BA/BA in Accounting
Experience working in a corporate accounting environment
Background in the Retail; E-Commerce industry
