This role includes clinical oversight for non-registered technicians and acting as a super-user/system administrator for EEG systems.

Performs various types of electroencephalogram studies
Obtains patient history from medical record, documents information in digital EEG system. Ensures patient orders and charges are correct and appropriate
Maintains the digital EEG and long-term monitoring systems. Clips long-term monitoring studies to reduce required server space
Qualification
Required
High school education
R.EEG.T Registry exam eligibility via ABRET Pathway
EEG registry required within one year of employment
BLS
EEG registry required within one year of hire
Preferred
Clinical Routine-LTM EEG experience
Knowledge of NATUS EEG systems
Knowledge of EPIC
College education
