Wealth Management Advisor

The Well is an established, employee-owned wealth management firm seeking a Wealth Manager (CFP) for their Bellevue-based team. This senior advisory role involves leading client relationships, delivering sophisticated planning, and collaborating on investment strategies, while also contributing to business development.

Responsibilities

Own and deepen client relationships through frequent, proactive communication
Facilitate client meetings, present recommendations clearly, and educate clients on strategy and tradeoffs
Coordinate with clients’ outside professionals (e.g., CPAs, attorneys, trustees) to ensure alignment and execution
Create and deliver comprehensive financial plans and ongoing updates
Coordinate planning across the full balance sheet and life planning needs, including estate and tax planning coordination
Drive implementation and follow-through with accountability and structure
Translate client goals into an investment approach: objectives, risk tolerance, cash needs, and constraints
Monitor asset allocation and rebalancing needs; support implementation of investment plans
Partner with internal resources to ensure consistency, reporting, and clear client communication
Partner with internal DAS resources on clients/families who require disability-focused planning coordination
Participate in complex-case planning where trusts, benefits planning considerations, care planning, and specialized resources may be involved
Communicate with empathy and clarity in sensitive, high-stakes situations while keeping recommendations practical and actionable
Develop and cultivate leads and referrals through strong relationship management
Meet with prospective clients, assess needs, and present proposals
Represent the firm at select industry events and in the community

Required

5–10+ years in financial advisory/wealth management, including building and managing client relationships
CFP® required, plus 3+ years producing and presenting financial plans
Bachelor's degree required
Strong communication and presentation skills; confident meeting facilitation
Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong work ethic and comfort with business development
Team-oriented approach and a client-first service mindset
Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Comfort operating in complex planning environments (estate/tax coordination, trusts, multi-party stakeholders)

Preferred

Experience with CRM, portfolio management, and financial planning software preferred (Salesforce, Tamarac, and eMoney are a plus)
Experience with disability-adjacent planning is a plus, not a requirement
