Responsibilities
Manage monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes
Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with GAAP
Lead monthly close activities related to inventory, COGS, and manufacturing operations
Support and enhance cost accounting processes and controls
Partner with operations, supply chain, and finance leadership to ensure accurate inventory metrics and financial impact
Support cost accounting activities, inventory accounting, and standard cost updates
Assist with internal and external audits
Grow into a Manager-level role, taking on direct reports and expanded responsibilities as the company continues scaling
Develop and improve accounting processes and controls
Partner with operations and leadership to provide financial insights
Qualification
Required
Minimum 4 years of public accounting experience
Prior experience working with manufacturing/wholesale clients (industry audit or advisory)
Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting best practices
Experience with ERP systems
Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Preferred
Preferably from a mid-sized or Big 4 firm
Manufacturing ERP exposure is a plus
