They are seeking a Vice President of Events to lead the overall strategy, execution, and growth of Becker’s live conferences, focusing on audience expansion, profitability, and new event launches in emerging healthcare segments.

Responsibilities
Lead strategy and execution for Becker’s conferences, overseeing planning, operations, programming, and the onsite experience
Build and execute a growth plan that expands event volume, audience reach, and financial performance
Partner with internal teams to drive data-informed attendee along with sponsor acquisition, engagement, and retention campaigns
Identify and develop new event concepts and audience segments that align with market opportunity and Becker’s brand
Drive operational excellence across the event lifecycle from budgeting and staffing to logistics and customer communications and experience
Manage, mentor, and develop a high-performing event operations team
Foster strong collaboration across sales, marketing, and editorial to align strategies and ensure integrated execution
Qualification
Required
10+ years of progressive leadership experience in event strategy, production, or marketing
Proven record of scaling event portfolios by launching, growing, or optimizing multi-conference programs
Data-driven mindset with the ability to use analytics to guide decisions and evaluate success
Skilled communicator and leader who thrives in fast-moving, entrepreneurial environments
Strategic and hands-on with the ability to set direction and execute to deliver strong results
Preferred
Experience working in B2B, healthcare, live events or media environments
