Responsibilities

Own and evolve Macy’s long-term Digital vision in partnership with leaders across Customer, Marketing, and other enterprise functions
Lead strategy development for priority growth and margin initiatives (e.g., top customer segments, regional focus, marketplace expansion)
Conduct diagnostics and analyses to inform strategic priorities
Serve as the primary partner for board updates and earnings preparations
Create compelling, data-driven narratives for C-suite and board-level presentations
Lead planning and execution of enterprise-wide communications
Oversee day-to-day Digital business operations, ensuring alignment, accountability, and timely issue resolution across teams
Define and implement business mechanisms to evaluate performance and drive continuous improvement
Foster an environment of acceptance and respect that strengthens relationships, and ensures authentic connections with colleagues, customers, and communities

Required

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a related field
2+ years of experience in management consulting, strategy, or digital retail, with exposure to executive-level communications
Ability to translate complex business challenges into actionable strategies and long-term digital vision
Exceptional storytelling and presentation skills, with proven experience crafting compelling narratives for C-suite and board-level audiences
Strong data literacy and analytical capability, including advanced proficiency in Excel, to derive insights, compute metrics (rates, ratios, probabilities, statistical inference), and guide decision-making
Demonstrated experience driving organizational, cultural, and operational change across large, complex organizations
Skilled at building strong partnerships across functions to align on priorities and deliver results
Deep understanding of digital retail dynamics, enterprise strategy, and industry trends to shape growth and margin initiatives
Ability to assess and improve organizational structures, processes, and mechanisms to enhance performance and accountability
Proven ability to manage multiple high-stakes priorities in a fast-paced environment with urgency and precision
Strong relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive alignment at all organizational levels
Trusted to handle sensitive company information with professionalism and integrity
High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), with particular expertise in developing executive-ready deliverables
