Responsibilities
Constructing and implementing software within a full stack environment (Front end, API, persistence, integrations)
Leveraging Java and Spring Boot in building a reliable back-end
Using JavaScript and React to build a modern front-end
Managing the full lifecycle of web application development; from designing, writing, testing, building, deploying, to monitoring
Using tools such as Gitlab, New Relic, and Slack, to drive operations and collaboration
Practicing and driving engineering practices such as DevOps (CI/CD; you build it, you own it), 12-factor design, and independent architecture
Qualification
Required
Proficiency in Java and Spring
Strong experience with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and microservices architecture
Deep understanding of SQL/NoSQL databases
Familiarity with cloud platforms and containerization
Front-end experience with React
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
Preferred
Kotlin and Node.js are pluses
Angular a plus
Use of AI tooling in software development
Experience with event-driven architectures and message queues
Background in performance tuning, scalability, and security best practices
Demonstratable technical independence
