Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate the establishment of new funds and separate account mandates for the firm's clients
Build scalable infrastructure for regional fund launches, accounting for market standard structures, regulatory frameworks and laws
Manage and lead engagement with all relevant internal and external stakeholders within the context of the firm's regional and global products
Manage operational due diligence responses for LPs and ensure readiness for investor scrutiny
Partner with the Regional and Group executive functions on regional strategic planning and execution
Lead the implementation of firm policies in the region
Manage along the Regional and Group CEOs, all human capital policies, compensation structures, and recruitment pipelines
Partner with regional management teams and business heads to support global growth initiatives, cost optimizations, efficiencies and enhance business performance and profitability
Provide practical resource and organizational management input into the firm's strategic decision-making, investment analysis, and new business development
Drive regional vendor and service provider selection, negotiation, and oversight for both fund/products as well for the firm
Lead the regional firm operations management function, ensuring a consistent risk framework and process aligned with Group standards
Identify, assess, and monitor key financial, operational, and compliance risks that affect the region
Lead crisis management, operational risk oversight, and continuity planning in the region
Oversee internal controls effectiveness and ensure remediation and manage the organization of resources across all North American offices
Be responsible for ensuring firmwide data integrity, security and management, to support other key executives within the firm
Coordinate with service providers to meet delegation, risk, and compliance standards regionally
Support the Regional and Group Finance & Audit and Group Operational Risk & Compliance Committees with timely and comprehensive reporting on regional risk exposures and mitigations
Ensure adherence to Group policies, procedures, and regulatory obligations
Maintain a robust internal controls environment to safeguard assets and ensure data integrity and security
Act as a key liaison with assurance groups, regulators and other external stakeholders as required
Manage and develop regional teams, in order to foster high performance standards, integrity, and collaboration across the firm's offices, and divisions
Promote knowledge sharing, best practices, and process harmonization across entities
Serve as a key link between Regional finance teams and Group leadership

Required

Minimum 20 years of experience in the financial industry or in senior operations functions, ideally within an investment management, multinational, or financial services environment
Proven track record in regional or divisional operations leadership roles
Strong command of industry best practices and operational standards, risk management frameworks, and resource governance practices
Experience in leading and delivering the establishment of closed-ended funds in North America and internationally (Delaware, Luxembourg, Ireland, Cayman, etc)
Have experience of managing and controlling complex strategic projects involving a wide range of internal and external stakeholders
Familiarity with fund and investment-related regulatory frameworks and laws
MBA or equivalent advanced degree from a leading academic institution
Strategic mindset with strong operational execution
High integrity, resilience, and sound judgment
Ability to work effectively across cultures and time zones
Strong leadership and influencing skills

Language skills or international professional experience are strong attributes
