The Operational Field Engineer T1 is a site-based technical support role focused on supporting core IT infrastructure across sites in the US and Canada, providing a hands-on environment for candidates with foundational IT skills.

Responsibilities

Respond to incidents and service requests, resolving standard issues and escalating when needed

Support installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT hardware/software including desktops, servers, network equipment, and telephony

Assist with onboarding tasks such as provisioning IT hardware, software, and access for new employees

Maintain asset records for IT hardware/software in line with lifecycle and security standards

Follow Change and compliance business processes

Contribute to project planning and execution under guidance

Monitor system performance and assist with routine troubleshooting

Maintain documentation including support logs and configuration records

Operate within standardized IT environments following enterprise procedures

Provide limited support for OT systems if required, but prior OT experience is not essential
