The Systems Integration and Test Engineer is responsible for planning, executing, and documenting verification and validation activities to ensure system compliance with operational and cybersecurity standards.

Responsibilities

Develop detailed test plans, procedures, and scripts aligned to system requirements, interface specifications, and design documentation

Conduct system integration testing, end-to-end (E2E) testing, and site acceptance tests in laboratory or pre-production environments

Identify, document, and track software or configuration defects through resolution; maintain issue and test metrics in Jira or similar tools

Perform regression, performance, and interoperability testing across multiple system baselines

Support validation of cybersecurity controls, patch verification, and compliance testing for ATO sustainment

Collaborate with engineering, operations, and DevSecOps teams to ensure test coverage across development pipelines

Produce comprehensive test reports, data summaries, and recommendations for configuration or process improvements

Assist with automation of routine test scenarios and development of reusable test frameworks or scripts

Participate in technical reviews, configuration control boards, and readiness assessments

Maintain Dev/Test environments, perform integration and end-to-end testing of platform builds, and ensure test results, defect reports, and automation outputs are properly tracked and published in Jira and Confluence for release validation
